Azerbaijan and Armenia exchanged prisoners
Baku / 28.06.19 / Turan: On June 28, mediated by the International Committee of the Red Cross, Azerbaijan and Armenia exchanged prisoners.
In particular, Elvin Ibrahimov, a resident of the village of Yukhary Salakhly of the Gazakh region, was transferred to the Azerbaijani side on March 16, 2019.
In turn, the Azerbaijani side released Armenian citizen Karapetyan Zaven, who was detained on June 20, 2017 in Gazakh region.
The humanitarian process was carried out by the State Commission for Prisoners, Refugees and Hostages with the mediation of the ICRC.
According to the State Commission, Alvin Ibrahimov was immediately taken to hospital. -06D-
