Azerbaijan and Tatarstan strengthen economic cooperation
President Ilham Aliyev received the Acting President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. According to the press service of the President, Aliyev noted the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation and Tatarstan in particular. In this sense, Minnikhanov visit will further strengthen these relations in different directions - trade, investment, joint projects. In turn, Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan’s delegation held a number of meetings in Baku.
The parties exchanged views on prospects for cooperation in the fields of mechanical engineering, petroleum engineering, automotive, petro-chemistry, information technology, tourism and others.
Previously Minnikhanov was received by Prime Minister Artur Rasizade. Tatarstan delegation visited the Emergency Situations Ministry, Defense Ministry, SOCAR, Ministry of Economic Development.
During the business forum within the framework of the visit, were discussed specific projects - production of "KAMAZ" in Ganja, building civilian helicopters "ANSAT", co-production in the field of petrochemicals.
