Azerbaijan and the United States to strengthen cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking
Baku/09.09.21/Turan: A meeting with the US Drug Enforcement Administration officers was held at the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
The talks with the American delegation headed by Robert Eller, Deputy Head of the US Drug Enforcement Administration for the Central Asian region focused on issues of joint activities in combating drug trafficking and mutual information exchange.
During the meeting, a need for further strengthening of cooperation was stressed, the SCC said in a statement.
The parties also reached an agreement on organization of training and seminars aimed at strengthening the current potentials, improving the knowledge and skills of employees of the State Customs Committee.—16D-
