Azerbaijan does not plan to open land borders - I.Aliyev
Baku/15.07.22/Turan: Azerbaijan does not plan to open land borders in the near future. This was stated on Friday by the head of state Ilham Aliyev at a meeting following the results of the first half of 2022.
He explained this by the difficult situation with COVID-19 infection and recommendations of the WHO.
“Our land borders must be closed so that people do not get sick, because this disease spreads most through land borders. That's why we keep the borders closed. We will keep as much as we need," Aliyev said. -02B-
