Azerbaijan sends another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine
Baku/20.12.22/Turan: Another batch of humanitarian aid was sent from Azerbaijan to Ukraine yesterday. Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladislav Kanevsky wrote about it on his Facebook page.
"Another humanitarian cargo, organised jointly with Azerbaijani business, is being sent to Ukraine - a 600 kg generator and a first aid kit for the Kherson oncology hospital," Kanevsky said.
Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Azerbaijan has sent humanitarian aid worth 30 million manats to that country.-03D06-

Ten activists from the National Front Party, detained on Monday outside the Nasimi District Court, were reportedly beaten at the 20th police station of the Nasimi district in Baku. A protocol was drawn up against them under Articles 510 and 535.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (minor hooliganism and disobedience to police), one of the detainees, Gülnara Rahimova, who was released, told Turan.

On Monday, President Ilham Aliyev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guinea-Bissau, Carlos Pinto Pereira, and the Minister of Environment of the country, Viriato Cassamá. Police blocked access to the Nasimi court building outside the trial of Ali Kerimli, leader of the Party of People's Front of Azerbaijan (PPFA), on Monday. Using force, the police detained six activists of the PPFA. Among them: National Council member Vidadi Mirkamal, as well as Mammad Ibrahim, Gulnara Rahimova, Ruslan Amirov, Elchin Hajivelli and Rovshan Safarov.
