Azerbaijan sent a second note to the Russian Foreign Ministry

Azerbaijani authorities gave Moscow a second note of protest in connection with not permitting official representatives of the Azerbaijani embassy in Russia access to Orkhan Zeynalov, who was arrested for the murder of a Muscovite, Yegor Shcherbakov. The information was spread by the pro-government TV station Leader.

According to the same source, the note of protest noted that the diplomats had not been given the opportunity to meet with Zeynalov. Baku sent another letter with similar claims to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin.

Notably, the website of the Foreign Ministry did not present such information and the ministry's representatives did not make any statements.

The previous protest note was handed over to the Russian authorities on October 17. Then the ambassador of Azerbaijan, Polad Bulbul Oglu, announced his intention to provide Zeynalov with consular assistance, a lawyer and an interpreter. -02D-
