Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers Talk for Four Hours
Baku / 12.07.18 / Turan: The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Elmar Mammadyarov and Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, took place in Brussels yesterday, with the mediation of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group. The meeting lasted about 4 hours, the official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Hikmet Hajiyev said.
In addition, Mammadyarov separately met with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
During the meetings, the negotiation process on the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict was discussed and the continuation of the "existing format of the negotiations" was noted, Hajiyev said.
There was also an exchange of views on the next steps to advance the negotiation process and the plan of action of the co-chairs.
It should be noted that this is the first meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia after the change of power in Armenia in May this year. -06D-
