Azerbaijani Armed Forces Advancing on Khankendi from Shusha
Baku / 09.11.20 / Turan: On the afternoon of November 9, the Armenian side reported that they were defending themselves from the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan advancing on Khankendi from the direction of Shusha. In particular, the leader of the Karabakh separatists Arayik Harutyunyan wrote about this on Twitter.
In his words, the Armenian military "has been repelling the enemy's attacks on Stepanakert (Khankendi – ed.) from Shushi (Shusha – ed.) for more than 24 hours."
At the same time, the Armenian Defense Ministry is trying to convince everyone that battles are taking place in Shusha. However, it is clear from messages on social networks that the attempts of Armenians to break through to Shusha along the Khankendi-Shusha road are failing.
In turn, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan once again confirmed that Shusha is under the full control of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan. Today, on the Shusha-Lachin road, one tank and one infantry fighting vehicle of Armenians trying to attack Azerbaijani units were destroyed.
At the same time, there are reports of fighting in villages around Shusha and on the outskirts of Khankendi, in particular, in Shushikend. -02D-
