The Azerbaijani Ambassador to Syria Mahir Aliyev, and other members of the diplomatic mission in Damascus, has left Syria, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan news service. The step is motivated by security considerations in connection with hostilities in that country. Earlier, other AzerbaijaI citizens left Syria.
