Extension of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue to Leave 61 Families Homeless
61 Families residing in the Rasulzadeh settlement in the Binagadi district will remain without a roof over their heads due to the extension of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue and demolition of their houses.
The residents staged a variety of events to attract attention, but the actions went unnoticed. Recently, the residents were received at the executive branch of Binagadi district and offered compensation. However, the residents, mostly refugees from Armenia, said the proposed compensation is inadequate.
In protest against the demolition of their houses, yesterday and today they tried to block Ziya Bunyadov Avenue. Police arrived. The residents said they will take all measures to have the amount of the compensation increased. -0 -
