Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry: Pashinyan's statements - Blow to Negotiation Process
Baku / 10.09.18 / Turan: Nikol Pashinyan's statement that Nagorno-Karabakh will become part of Armenia is a disrespect to the norms and principles of international law and UN Security Council resolutions, and a blow to the negotiation process, which is mediated by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs . This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev, commenting on the statements made by the Prime Minister of Armenia Pashinyan the day before.
Pashinyan demonstrates Armenia's true intention to continue illegal occupation of Azerbaijani territories, and not to resolve the conflict through negotiations, he said.
The Armenian leadership deliberately makes a statement in the capital of a state-co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group and on the eve of the meeting of the Foreign Ministers in New York, Hajiyev said.
"Once again we want to emphasize that the responsibility for aggravation of the situation with such statements lies entirely with Armenia and its leadership," added Hajiyev. -06D--
