Azerbaijani PM receives Indian Minister of Trade and Industry
Baku/25.10.23/Turan: On October 25, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov received Indian Minister of State for Trade and Industry Anupriya Patel.
According to the official message, the sides highly appreciated the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Azerbaijan and India held in Baku and the documents signed following its results.
Asadov informed the guest about the situation in the region after the Second Karabakh War and the current state of negotiations between Baku and Yerevan. He also noted that there are all conditions for concluding a peace treaty.
He further hinted at the negative impact on the situation after the arms supplies to Armenia from India. "The active arming of the Armenian side at such a sensitive moment deals a serious blow to the peace process, creates new threats to peace and stability in the South Caucasus region," Asadov said. ---02B---
