Azerbaijani Political Emigrants to Hold Protest Action in Front of Angela Merkel�s Residence
Baku / 15.08.18 / Turan: On the initiative of the organization Choose Democratic Azerbaijan (CDA) a rally of Azerbaijani political emigrants will be held before the residence of the Federal Chancellor of Germany in Berlin on August 22.

The aim of the action is to draw Merkel's attention to the problems with human rights in Azerbaijan in the light of her forthcoming visit to Baku within the framework of her tour to the South Caucasus on August 23-25.
The action will be held under the slogans "Freedom to political prisoners!", "No caviar diplomacy!", "Do not make human rights the victim of oil interests!" etc.
CDA was established by a group of Azerbaijani political immigrants in Germany on June 3, 2018. -03D-

The National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) has scheduled a protest rally in Baku for May 19 demanding the release of political prisoners, electoral reform, improvement of the social situation of the population, and the opening of land borders.
