Azerbaijani-Turkish Military Exercises
Baku / 05/01/19 / Turan: On May 1, Azerbaijan"s joint Azerbaijani-Turkish tactical exercises Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2019 began with combat shooting, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said.
The purpose of the exercises is to coordinate the military units of Azerbaijan and Turkey by developing joint plans, increasing the combat readiness of personnel and conducting joint operations by the military personnel of the two countries.
The exercises involve armored vehicles, artillery and mortars, combat and transport helicopters, air defense and anti-aircraft missile units of the armies of the two countries. The exercises will last until May 3.
The number of personnel involved in these exercises is not reported. -02D-

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported.
