Azerbaijani-Turkish Political Consultations
There was another round of Azerbaijani-Turkish political consultations. The delegations of the parties at the talks were headed by the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Khalaf Khalafov and Umit Yalcin.
During the consultations they discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in international organizations, as well as trilateral Azerbaijan-Turkey-Iran, Azerbaijan-Turkey-Georgia, and Azerbaijan-Turkey-Turkmenistan.
The sides also noted the need to enhance joint efforts to resolve the Karabakh conflict within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
They exchanged views on the Middle East, the fight against international terrorism, resolving regional conflicts and other issues of mutual interest. -06D--
