Azerbaijanis from Austria urged to vote for Jamila Gasanly
The Austrian Azerbaijan Society created originally from Azerbaijan issued a statement in support of the presidential candidate of the National Council of Democratic Forces Jamil Gasanly and urged voters to vote for him on October 9 presidential elections .
The document states that the Azerbaijanis living in Austria will be ready to provide the necessary assistance to Gasanly in his fight for the presidency of Azerbaijan and democratic values.
Authors of the statement condemned attempts by the authorities once again to falsify the election results and consider the nomination of President Ilham Aliyev to the third presidential candidate as violation of elementary democratic principles and the manifestation of the monarchy.
The document calls on the authorities to stop pressure on political opponents and the release of all political prisoners. -0 -
