Azerbaijan’s Defence Minister Met with the Commandant of the NATO Defence College Major General Janusz Bojarski
Defence Minister of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with the Commandant of the NATO Defence College Major General Janusz Bojarski paying visit to our country.
Welcoming the guest, Minister of Defence informed him about the military-political situation in the region, the Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its consequences, as well as about the current operational situation on the line of confrontation of troops.
Minister spoke about the program of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO, in particular on the achieved interoperability between the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the NATO members and partners, and also about the Azerbaijan's contribution to Resolute Support mission, conducted by NATO in Afghanistan.
Defence Minister thanked the guest for his support of the Azerbaijan's Armed Forces Military Academy within the framework of the "Defence Education Enhancement Programme".
In turn, Major General J.Boyarski, informed the Minister of Defence on the activities of the Defence College and expressed his satisfaction with the visit. –02D----
