Baku and Tehran keep discrepancies on delimitation of the Caspian seabed - Khalafov
Baku / 12.06.19 / Turan: The next meeting of the working group on the legal status of the Caspian Sea will be held in July in Tehran. It will be the third in a row after the signing of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea in August 2018. Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov told reporters about this.
The working group discusses the implementation of the basic principles agreed in the Convention.
At the same time, Khalafov stated the persistence of differences of opinion between Baku and Tehran on the delimitation of the Caspian seabed. Negotiations on this issue continue. -03C06-
