Baku is not satisfied with the Iranians' investigation of the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran
Baku/01.03.23/Turan: There are many questions for the Iranian side and on the issue of investigating the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran, stated the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev in an interview with the TV channel "Real TV".
A number of moments remain dark for us. It is not clear how this man carried out an armed attack on the embassy for half an hour, and the Iranian security authorities did not take any measures. He had a machine gun and a pistol with him, where did he get them from? Instead of clarifying these issues, the Iranian side reported that the attacker was placed in a mental hospital, Aliyev said. The circumstances of the case prove that the attack was organized.
"Participants, customers and perpetrators of the crime must be brought to justice. In this regard, we are preparing a request to the Iranian side. If necessary, employees of our Prosecutor's Office and the State Security Service will be sent to Iran," Kamran Aliyev said. ---0---
