Baku to Host Trilateral Meeting of Presidents of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey
In the near future Baku will host a trilateral meeting between the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, said Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim at a joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Kvirikashvili in the palace of Cankaya in Ankara on July 19.
The Turkish Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that the tripartite mechanism of Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia has made a major contribution to the development of regional cooperation, Anadolu Agency reported.
Erdogan expressed concern about the deteriorating situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which took place three months ago.
"We expressed our commitment to address the problem within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. In addition, we discussed issues related to the increasing number of terrorist attacks in the region in recent years. Once again we stressed the need for international cooperation in the fight against terrorism, making no distinction between terrorists or classifying them," said the Prime Minister of Turkey. -0--
