Beylar Ayyubov became Colonel General
President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree on December 25, awarding the chief of his security service, deputy head of the Special State Protection Service (SSPS ) Beylar Ayyubov the rank of Colonel General.
Note that so far this title was awarded only to the first person of law enforcement agencies.
Another two senior employees of SSPS, Islam Alekperov and Mursal Veliyev were assigned the rank of Lieutenant General. Akif Yusifov became a Major General.
