Candidates for deputies complain about the interference of officials in the elections in Fizuli
Baku / 30.01.20 / Turan: A group of candidates for deputies in the 84th Fizuli district appealed to President Ilham Aliyev. The appeal was signed by Yusif Agayev, Bayram Hajiyev, Ilgar Kazymov, Javanshir Guliyev and Mubariz Sadigly.
They note that the appointment of early elections has given rise to new hopes in society. “However, in the district where we are candidates, the executive branch destroys these hopes, casting a shadow on the election process, which causes voters to disappoint.
So, officials of the Fizuli District Executive Authority openly interfere in the election campaign in favor of candidate Vugar Bayramov, form the opinion that he is a “pre-elected candidate”. On campaign stands, posters of other candidates often disappear.
Meetings are organized for Bayramov, where employees of executive structures, health care, education and other state institutions are convened. Those who do not want to participate in this lawlessness are under pressure.
At meetings in places of compact residence of immigrants from the Fizuli region in Sumgait and Lokbatan, another candidate was not given the floor; voters were asked to ask questions only to Bayramov.
In recent years, officials have threatened low-income families that if they do not vote for Bayramov, they will not receive a salary, the statement says.
The authors ask the president to help stop the illegal interference of the executive branch and other government agencies in the electoral process.
Turan Agency is also ready to provide the position of Vugar Bayramov. — 06D--
