The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu rejected Moscow's accusations that Turkey pushes Azerbaijan to war with Armenia. Commenting such accusations by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov of the Russian Federation, Cavusoglu said that Turkey has never called any countryfor war in Karabakh, Cavusoglu told journalists. Commenting on the statements of Lavrov, Cavusoglu called them ridiculous.
"It's so ridiculous that we should not even comment. Who broke the ceasefire in Karabakh? It was Armenia. So from Lavrov’s words it appears that Turkey calls on Armenia to attack Azerbaijan. But this is ridiculous," Cavusoglu said.
During his stay in Yerevan, Lavrov said that the statements of Turkish leaders were calling for war, and not for peace. This is how Moscow regarded Erdogan's statement that Karabakh should be returnedto Azerbaijan. -02D-
