Center Forecast broke the law, announcing the victory of Ilham Aliyev
The Center for Sociological Research Forecast published at noon on October 9 interim results of exit poll in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan.
According to this NGO at 10:30, the leader among the candidates is Ilham Aliyev (92.15 % of the votes), followed by the opposition leader Jamil Gasanly - 6.06 %.
However, as the executive secretary of the Centre for Monitoring Elections and Democracy Training (TSMVOD) Bashir Suleymanli told Turan, the publication of polls during the vote is a serious violation of the law.
"All of the exit polls are not credible, as they are held by pro-government entities or their foreign partners. Independent structures have been denied holding exit-poll," said Suleymanli.
The CEC did not have information about the research center Forecast, but noted that the announcement of the results of polls during voting is illegal.
This is not the only "puncture" of bodies lured by the authorities.
So, yesterday the CEC announced special applications for smart phones Android system by downloading which you can monitor the progress of the election. When users did so, they saw a ready-made election results that Ilham Aliyev won 72 percent of the vote!
CEC representative Azer Sariyev distanced himself from these data, stating that the responsibility for this lies with the company that prepared the program, but he could not remember the name. -06D-
