Commander of Bahrain's Armed Forces in Baku
On January 30, Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Zakir Hasanov, met with the Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain’s Defense Forces, Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. Hasanov expressed gratitude for the humanitarian assistance provided by Bahrain to Azerbaijan during the 44-day war, as well as for the support in international organizations.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, thanking for the warm welcome and hospitality, emphasized the importance of mutual visits and the development of bilateral cooperation. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for expanding cooperation in military and military-educational fields, as well as on regional security issues.
