Commanders of Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia to Meet in Ankara
In Ankara on May 4 there will be the first meeting of the heads of the armed forces of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia. In particular, the talks will be attended by Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov and the Chiefs of General Staff of Turkey and Georgia Necdet Ozel and Vakhtang Kapanadze.
As the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said, during the meeting they will discuss ways to develop cooperation in the military sphere in the trilateral format.
In particular, the subject of the discussion will be regional security and practical mechanisms for the implementation of tasks to ensure the stability and security of regional energy and railway projects.
Following the first meeting of the heads of the Armed Forces will sign a protocol.
On May 5 Hasanov will also visit the International Defence Industry Exhibition IDEF - 2015. -06D--
