Court Hearing on IRFS Claim against Ministry of Taxes Once Again Postponed Until July 24
Baku Administrative-Economic Court №1 postponed the hearing scheduled for July 1 at the suit of the Institute of Reporters Freedom and Safety (IRFS) against the Ministry of Taxes, and scheduled the hearing for July 24. This is the latest postponement of the trial in the last eighteen months.
In November 2014 IRFS filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Taxes in connection with the unfounded claims of tax debts. The Tax Ministry decided that IRFS did not pay a tax debt in the amount of 94,891 manats, and imposed financial sanctions on IRFS in the amount of 48,665 manats. -0-
