The problems and the failure of the program WhatsApp messenger in Azerbaijan are not related to the actions of the mobile operators and the "administration of communications," reads the statement of the Ministry of Communications of Azerbaijan in connection with numerous complaints of users WhatsApp.
Communications Ministry, as the regulatory authority, does not put restrictions on the use of software applications in the mobile network. Today in Azerbaijan there are three mobile operators and Internet service providers over forty. It is not the priority of the Ministry to prevent the activity, because it is contrary to the development.
In addition, mobile operators are not interested in the blocking of such applications, according to the Ministry of Communications. As for the technical failures WahtsApp, they take place in Western Europe, South America and Australia.
Problems with WhatsApp are taking place since the 18th of June. Previously significant amounts of photos, video and audio information was transmitted by users via the Internet through this application, and it significantly reduced the cost of mobile phone use. -03D-
