Defense Ministry reported the death of another four Azerbaijani soldiers
Last night on the Agdam-Agdere direction frontline the Armenian side again attempted attacks on Azerbaijani positions.
"On the night of 1 to 2 August in the Agdam-Agdere direction an Armenian intelligence-subversive group once again tried to attack our positions at positions near the frontline. However, due to the courage shown by the armed forces of Azerbaijan, this attempt of the enemy was strongly suppressed. The enemy, suffering losses, was forced to retreat," said the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.
At the same time the Azerbaijani side also lost 4 people killed.
MoD gives their names: Ensign Aliyev Parvin Salahaddin Oglu, Jr. Ensign Huseynov Raheel Afsar Oglu, Jr. Ensign Ahmedov Elchin Rasim Oglu and a soldier of the extended military service Guliyev Sarkhan Geyrat Oglu.
Currently, the situation in this direction is under the control of the armed forces of Azerbaijan.
The Defense Ministry expresses condolences to the families of the deceased.
Recall that on 1 August the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported that fierce fighting took place over the past three days and eight members of the armed forces of the country were killed. -06D -

On January 15, the Yasamal District Court rejected the motion to change the detention measure for Azer Gasymly, the director of the Institute of Political Management, his lawyer, Agyl Laidj, to Turan. "Azer Gasymly stated during the trial that the charges against him were fabricated and related to his socio-political activities," the lawyer said. An appeal will be filed against the court's decision.
