Dozens of small arms found in liberated territories
Dozens of small arms and thousands of cartridges were found in Khankendi, Khojaly, Kelbajar and Lachin from 22 to 28 June, the Interior Ministry reported today.
Thus, police officers found 26 automatic rifles, 3 machine guns, 1 pistol, 3 rifles, 27 grenades, 2 grenade launchers, 4780 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition in Khankendi during the mentioned period.
One automatic rifle, 7 magazines and 255 rounds of various calibres of ammunition were found in the village of Vengli in the Kelbajar region.
Four automatic rifles, one pistol, one grenade launcher, 12 grenades, 10 magazines and 278 rounds of various calibres were found in Askeran village, Khojaly region.
In Lachin region, 2 automatic rifles, 1 pistol, 1 rifle, 13 grenades and 270 cartridges of various calibres were found.
