Embassy of Iran denies reports of restrictions of visa regime
A spokesman for the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan Seid Ayatullahi denied reports of a number of media on the introduction of restrictions for the Azerbaijanis to visit Iran.
Earlier, some media reported that the Iranian side does not allow the Azerbaijani citizens for more than twice a month. According to Ayatullahi, there are not such restrictions, visa-free regime operates and citizens of Azerbaijan can visit Iran without restrictions. Moreover, the operation checkpoint was extended for the convenience of citizens.
Iran has canceled visa regime with Azerbaijan in 2009, Azerbaijani citizens can cross the border by presenting identification. -03D-

During the ongoing COP29 climate conference in Baku on November 14, a group of activists staged a protest condemning Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The activists also denounced countries that supply oil and weapons to nations waging aggressive wars. The protest featured placards with slogans such as: "From fossil fuels to peace!", "End war crimes!", "Punish the aggressor!", and "Phase out fossil fuel use to achieve peace!" among others.
