In turn, the director of the Institute of Political Management, Azer Gasimli, told the Turan news agency that Ibrahimov stopped the hunger strike after urgent requests from relatives, relatives, friends and like-minded people.
"We had previously asked Emin to stop his hunger strike, but he stubbornly continued the action. This time we convinced him that he is a man of struggle, and in order to continue his work he needs to be healthy," Gasimli said.
Emin Ibrahimov was detained on July 22. He was charged under the Articles 126.2.4 (intentional infliction of serious harm to health from hooligan motives) and 221 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. According to these Articles, he faces up to 11 years in prison.
