Erdogan urged to start work on the supply of Turkmen gas to Europe
Baku/14.12.22/Turan: It is necessary to start work on the supply of Turkmen gas to Western markets, Turkish President Erdogan said this, speaking at the trilateral Turkey-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan summit on Wednesday. He noted that Turkey is also ready to cooperate with Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan in the development of the “Dostlug” oil and gas field in the Caspian Sea.
In addition, Ankara is ready to discuss with Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan the topic of electricity imports to Turkey. The Turkish leader also stressed the importance of the development of transport corridors, including Lapis-Lazuli, as a contribution to regional security.
It should be noted that the talk is about the creation of the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan and its connection to the Southern Gas Corridor. --02D---
