Etchmiadzin decided not to abolish Karabakh diocese
Baku/04.11.23/Turan: A meeting on November 3 of the Supreme Spiritual Council of the Armenian Church in Etchmiadzin adopted a decision to preserve the Karabakh (Artsakh) diocese.
According to the press service of Etchmiadzin, this decision was adopted by Catholicos Garegin II.
According to the same source, "some functions of the diocese will be changed." "This means that we will have a dream in our hearts to return to Artsakh again," Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, head of the Karabakh diocese, added. -0-
