Etibar Mammadov Denied Reports on His Return to Politics
“I have no political ambitions. Let nobody worry about it,” said the leader of the National Independence Party Etibar Mammadov, commenting for Turan the news published in several media that Mammadov would be appointed Prime Minister soon.
Note that such publications appeared after Mammadov sharply criticized the government of Azerbaijan. “I just expressed my opinion as a citizen of the country, and I will do it further,” he added.
* Recall that Etibar Mammadov has been the leader of one of the leading opposition parties for many years. He claimed the highest positions in the country and participated in the presidential elections. A few years ago, he withdrew from political activity. -03B-
