EU countries are considering sending a mission to the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan
Baku/11.10.22/Turan: On October 11, the ambassadors of the EU member states will discuss in Brussels the decision to send a civilian mission to Armenia, which should be located on the border with Azerbaijan to assist in the delimitation of the border, stated the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar speaking at the Defense Committee of the European Parliament.
The decision to send a mission has yet to be approved by the Member States (EU) in the Commission on Politics and Security.
The situation remains extremely dangerous and the EU should help Armenia and Azerbaijan to build confidence building measures and a just peace, he said. --02B--
