EU monitoring on Armenian-Azerbaijani border to end on 19 December
Baku/13.12.22/Turan: The European Union's Council meeting in Brussels on 12 December decided on an EU mission that had operated for two months on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Recall that the final document of the meeting on the mission reads as follows: "The Council reviewed the EU monitoring capacity in Armenia which will end on 19 December. In order to maintain the EU's credibility as mediator in the dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan, a team will be sent to Armenia from 20 December to participate in the planning of a possible civilian mission to be launched in 2023, if agreed". -02B-
