Ex-US Ambassador Discusses Energy and Transport Issues in Baku
Baku /05.07.19 / Turan: Former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta, who is a member of the board of the American "Caspian Political Center", continues to meet in Baku, discussing issues of transport, logistics and energy projects.
He met with the head of the country's Railways Department, Javid Gurbanov.
On July 5, Cekuta was received by Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov.
The Ministry of Energy reports that during the meeting energy projects in the Caspian region, world energy trends, the impact of new technologies were discussed.
The meeting was also attended by the commander of the US reserve forces Rear Admiral Ron McLaren.
The sides exchanged views on the progress of the Southern Gas Corridor project and reforms in the energy sector of Azerbaijan. -02D-
