August 13 by the order of the Minister of Defense, the Air Defense Forces of Azerbaijan started exercises.
During the exercises the troops will be brought to full combat readiness, for the protection of important government and military installations and ground forces from air attacks.
As part of the exercise there will also be live firing at targets, simulating cruise and ballistic missiles, the press service of the Defense Ministry said. -16D06-

Georgia's Foreign Minister, Maka Botchorishvili, arrived in Baku for an official visit on January 16, and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is expected to arrive in Baku on January 17, reports Echo of the Caucasus, citing government sources.
