Final Exams in 9th Grade and Football Matches Canceled
Baku / 03.03.20 / Turan: Final examinations planned for March 9 on the basis of nine-year secondary education were canceled due to the threat of corona virus. This was reported by the State Examination Center (SCE) of Azerbaijan.
These examinations were supposed to take place on March 9 in 4 cities: Ganja, Sheki, Lankaran and Sumgait, as well as in 23 districts of the country.
As stated in the message of the SCE on March 3, the exam was postponed indefinitely. A new date will be determined a week before they are held.
In addition, the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) canceled by March 10 all games and competitions in all age categories of the Youth League and women's leagues.
The decision was made due to the fact that the teams of these leagues are composed of schoolchildren and students, the report said on the AFFA website. — 06D-
