Foreign Minister left for the meeting of the UN Security Council

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has left for New York to attend and preside at meetings of the UN Security Council High-Level Conference on "Strengthening the partnership between the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation."

As the press service of the Foreign Ministry said, Mammadyarov is scheduled to speak at the meeting and the appeal of the Azerbaijani chairmanship in the United Nations will be disseminated on the results.

Strengthening partnership between the UN and OIC was one of the priorities during its presidency of the country in the UN Security Council. Recall that Azerbaijan through rotation became chairman of the UN Security Council for a month on October 1. -06D-
