Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia to Meet in New York
Baku / 31.08.18 / Turan: The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Elmar Mammadyarov and Edward Mnatsakanyan, will be held within the framework of the session of the UN General Assembly, which opens in New York on September 18. This was announced by the official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Hikmet Hajiyev at a briefing today.
According to him, the Ministers will discuss the settlement of the Karabakh conflict on the basis of the agenda on the negotiating table.
To resolve the conflict, it is necessary to implement the existing four resolutions of the UN Security Council, Hajiyev said. According to him, these resolutions set out all the necessary requirements for the settlement of the conflict and it is necessary to fulfill them. These resolutions create the basis for the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group, he noted. -06D--
