Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Russia discussed North-South transport corridor
Baku /20.07.22 / Turan: On July 20, a telephone conversation took place between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Russia Sergey Lavrov.
According to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the parties stressed the importance of the full implementation of the tripartite statements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia in 2020 and 2021.
In addition, Bayramov and Lavrov discussed transport and transit issues in the region and, in particular, the importance of expanding the North-South transport corridor passing through Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran, the report said.
Recall that it was precisely the need to launch this project as soon as possible the day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in Tehran. -02D-
