Foreign Ministers of Caspian countries to hold meeting in Moscow
Baku/29.11.23/Turan: The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Caspian littoral states will be held on December 5 in Moscow under the chairmanship of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. This was stated on Wednesday at a briefing by the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
"On December 5, a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Caspian littoral states - Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan - is scheduled in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov," Zakharova was quoted as saying by the TASS news agency.
The event will launch a new regular ministerial dialogue within the framework of the mandate agreed upon at the 6th Caspian summit in Ashgabat in June 2022, she said. During the meeting, it is planned to consider "a wide range of issues of mutual interest with an emphasis on priorities for the development of Caspian cooperation," Zakharova added. –06B-
