French Ambassador to Baku condolences over death of two journalists
Baku/04.06.21/Turan: The French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zakariy Gross expressed condolences in connection with the death of two Azerbaijani journalists today.
On his Twitter page, he wrote, “The message about the deaths of Siraj Abyshev and Maharram Ibrahimov in a mine explosion in the Kalbajar region greatly saddened me. I express my condolences to their loved ones,” he wrote. -16D-

On January 22, lawyer Zibeyda Sadigova visited journalist Farid Ismayilov at the Baku Detention Center No. 1, who was arrested on January 17 in connection with the Toplum TV case. Ismayilov had been brought in for questioning back in March 2024 and placed under police supervision.
