Gasanli: Ilham Aliyev behaves like a sultan
Baku/30.09.13/Turan : The new televised debate of presidential candidates in the public television went on the attack on the usual scenario of most of the presidential candidates on the candidate of the National Council of Democratic Forces Jamil Gasnli and other opposition leaders.
Thus, the authorized representative of the current president , Ilham Aliyev , deputy executive secretary of the party New Azerbaijan Siyavush Novruzov invented a small number of participants in the mass meeting in support of Gasanli .
Novruzov saw this as lack of public support of Gasanli.
Appealing to Gasanli's statements about the poor state of education , he reminded about Gasanli's positive assessment of the situation in this area in one of his speeches in 2009.
Gasanli in turn, asked why Ilham Aliyev himself should not come to the debate. "Does he consider it beneath his dignity to be here with us?
Ilham Aliyev behaves like a sultan, and considers the citizens of the country as patrials," said Gasanli. He remembered that when Novruzov was a student at the Law Faculty by correspondence, he only received a mark "three" after four attempts.
Then fending the incorrect comparison of himself with a shepherd , Gasanli said, "Yes , I grew up in a village and depastured both cows and sheep. There's nothing wrong with that. It's terrible when you were born a normal person , grew up in the city and then you started to turn into a beast, " said Gasanli.
Zahid Oruc said Jamil Gasanli is "morally blind" and just does not see the progress of the country. And at the same time he stated that "Ilham Aliyev has built a state, which is better than that built by Peter I» and turned Azerbaijan into the center of the Turkic world.
The head of the party Modern Musavat Hafiz Hajiyev, pouring insults and slander against the opposition leaders, called Gasanli "a horse thief."
The head of the United Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan Gudret Gasanguliyev again became to quote Gasanli's speeches, in which he spoke positively about Ilham Aliyev.
Gasanli in turn reminded that MP Gasanguliyev criticized corruption in parliament and said that if President Aliyev is not fighting that, it means that he is the chief corrupter.
Next Gasanli focused on the onerous terms of bank loans , which sometimes leads to suicide of citizens, who are unable to pay.
He also reminded that the government of Azerbaijan provided a credit to Belarus at a rate of just 1 percent.
Gasanli said that if elected President, he would announce a "golden amnesty" for the release of not only political prisoners , but of all the innocent prisoners .
Gasanli promised to return the property to the citizens, from whom it had been forcibly expropriated, and to solve the problem of the recognition of the property rights of the owners of more than 500 thousand apartments and houses.
The leader of the Umid (Hope) Party Igbal Aghazadeh called on citizens to vote for change if they are for poverty eradication, the return of Karabakh, and the increase of salaries and pensions.
The leader of the Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloglu also talked about social problems, lack of guarantees for citizens' rights to housing, etc. -06D--
