Baku / 07.25.19 / Turan: Gozal Bayramly, Deputy Chairman of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), was issued a passport for foreign trips today. She herself wrote about this on her Facebook page.
"Finally, today I received a passport. The positive response of the issue was positively influenced by the harsh public reaction," she noted.
According to Bayramly, they called her from the ASAN service and said that a "misunderstanding" had occurred and she could come for the passport.
Recall that on July 24, the ASAN service refused to issue the passport to her without providing any clear explanation. She regarded it as a "revenge" for her opposition activities.
Bayramly was detained in May 2017 upon her return from Georgia. She was accused of currency smuggling and sentenced to 3 years in prison. In March of this year she was pardoned. -03B06-
