Half dozen documents signed as result of Azerbaijan-Tajik negotiations
Baku/06.04.23/Turan: A package of bilateral documents was signed in Dushanbe yesterday following meetings between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan - Ilham Aliyev and Emomali Rahmon.
The parties, in particular, signed:
- an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in land management, land relations, cadastre, geodesy and cartography;
- an agreement on cooperation between the Interior Ministries of the two countries, protocol on exchange of preliminary information on goods and vehicles transported between the two countries
- a memorandum on cooperation in the exchange of financial and intelligence information on money-laundering, related crimes and financing of terrorism;
- an action plan on economic cooperation between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Tajikistan until 2025;
- a road map for strengthening cooperation in the agricultural sector for 2023-2024;
- a programme of cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries for 2023-2024;
- a memorandum of cultural cooperation for 2023-2024;
- an agreement on cooperation in the investment, promotion of start-ups and entrepreneurship;
- a memorandum of cooperation in the tourism;
- a memorandum of understanding between the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the National Bank of Tajikistan;
- a memorandum of understanding between the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of Azerbaijan and "Tajikinvest" State Unitary Enterprise
- a twinning protocol between the city of Shusha of Azerbaijan and the city of Isfara of Tajikistan;
- a memorandum of understanding between the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Azerbaijan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan. -06В-
