Hayrikyan: Armenia Does Not Exist for Putin
There is no Armenia for Putin, there is only the Transcaucasus, said Paruyr Hayrikyan, former presidential candidate leader of the “National Self-Determination” party at a press conference in Yerevan.
He recalled that Russia does not have military bases in Georgia and Azerbaijan. "Putin said that, many believed that Russia will leave the Caucasus, but it does not left it, but also intends to strengthen its presence in the region. Is not it obvious that we are talking only about Armenia?" asked Hayrikyan.
Putin, in fact, stated that "we are not Armenians, we are Transcaucasians." "The railroad is not occasionally called the South Caucasus Railway. It is not important for slaves, but there are people in Armenia that reacted not violently, but, nevertheless, from the first day. This is especially true for young people, for which Armenia has always been and will remain Armenia. If these fools do not wake up and do not prefer to live as free people, then Armenia will be called the South Caucasus province of Russia," said Hayrikyan, insulting supporters of Armenia's accession to the Customs Union . -02D-
