Humanitarian cargo for Karabakh stuck in front of Lachin border crossing point
Baku/27.07.23/Turan: A convoy with humanitarian cargo from Armenia is still waiting to enter Nagorno-Karabakh through the Lachin corridor, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan wrote on Twitter on 27 July.
Yesterday, Armenia sent 360 tonnes of humanitarian aid in 19 trucks to Nagorno-Karabakh. This was done in defiance of Baku's call to use the Aghdam-Khankendi road to deliver humanitarian aid.
However, Yerevan refused to do so, saying there was no such agreement. The day before, the country's presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev said that the delivery of humanitarian aid would be possible only through Aghdam. -02D-
